Recommendation:
For a more peaceful and less crowded experience, we recommend renting during the early morning hours (8 AM – 10 AM). After 9 AM, the area becomes busier with boat and kayak operators.
About Kayaking
Kayaking is an accessible activity for everyone, offering a unique way to connect with nature. Renting a kayak gives you the freedom to choose how you experience this adventure. You can enter the famous caves, dive into the crystal-clear waters of our coast, or relax on a deserted beach.

Delivery and Collection
- Free: Praia dos Estudantes.
- Locations: Parking lot of the beach.
- Customer Responsibility: Transport of the equipment from the delivery point to the beach.
Important Notes:
Please note that due to regulations from the competent authorities, we are not permitted to deliver or collect paddle boards and kayaks directly on the beach. Our service is strictly a rental, and as such, the meeting point for pick-up and drop-off is always at the parking lot.
The beach is only accessible via stairs. Descending and ascending the stairs can be somewhat challenging, especially with equipment. We recommend planning your time accordingly.

Pick-up & Drop-off
We now deliver at Praia dos Estudantes, always at the parking lot—never directly on the beach. The meeting point is at the top of the stairs next to the restaurant, where customers will spot our van upon arrival.
Kayak Capacity
Our kayaks can hold a maximum weight of 300kg and comfortably seat two adults and one child.

General Rules
Safety and Regulations
Paddle & Kayak Fun prioritizes your safety and enjoyment on the water. Please familiarize yourself with the following regulations:
Kayak rentals are available during daylight hours only, ending one hour before sunset.
During designated swimming seasons, kayak use is prohibited in designated swimming areas.
For safety reasons, kayak rentals are limited to operating within 300 meters of the shoreline.
Please bring water, a hat, and sun lotion to stay hydrated and protected from the sun.
Ensure at least one member of your group has a phone for communication, especially in case of emergencies. In an emergency, always contact local emergency services first (112).
Rentals may be cancelled or restricted due to unfavorable weather conditions. Rentals cannot proceed when:
- Wind speeds exceed F4 on the Beaufort scale (up to 16 knots).
- Wave height surpasses 1 meter (Small Wave sea).
Please note: Wave sea refers to the overall wave height, not the breaking waves on the beach.
For your safety, we require all participants to know how to swim. We do not rent equipment to non-swimmers.
