Recommendation:
During the peak of summer, we recommend that our customers choose the time slot from 8 AM to 10 AM. This allows you to enjoy a more peaceful and less crowded experience on the water. After 9 AM, the area becomes much busier with the arrival of boat and kayak operators, leading to increased activity. Take advantage of the morning to explore the coastline with greater comfort!
About Stand Up Paddle

- With the freedom to explore caves, deserted beaches, and swim in crystal clear waters, it’s perfect for families, groups of friends, couples, or solo adventures.
The Boards
- Delivered with Ideal Pressure: Between 12 and 15 psi.
- Capacity: 1 adult and 1 child per board.
- Maximum Load: Between 110kg and 140kg.
- Condition of Equipment: Equipment must be returned in the same condition as received.
Important Note:
The beach is only accessible via stairs. Descending and ascending the stairs can be somewhat challenging, especially with equipment. We recommend being prepared for this part of the journey and planning your time accordingly.

Paddle Fun & Kayak Fun offers convenient delivery and pick-up options for both SUP and kayak rentals.
Pick-up & Drop-off
We now deliver at Praia dos Estudantes, always at the parking lot—never directly on the beach. The meeting point is at the top of the stairs next to the restaurant, where customers will spot our van upon arrival.
SUP Capacity
Our boards can accommodate individuals weighing up to 140kg (or 2 people with a combined weight of 140kg).
Condition
Please return the SUP board in the same condition you received it.
General Rules
Safety and Regulations
Paddle & Kayak Fun prioritizes your safety and enjoyment on the water. Please familiarize yourself with the following regulations:
SUP rentals are available during daylight hours only, ending one hour before sunset.
During designated swimming seasons, SUP use is prohibited in designated swimming areas.
For safety reasons, SUP rentals are limited to operating within 300 meters of the shoreline.
Please bring water, a hat, and sun lotion to stay hydrated and protected from the sun.
Ensure at least one member of your group has a phone for communication, especially in case of emergencies. In an emergency, always contact local emergency services first (112).
Rentals may be cancelled or restricted due to unfavorable weather conditions. Rentals cannot proceed when:
- Wind speeds exceed F4 on the Beaufort scale (up to 16 knots).
- Wave height surpasses 1 meter (Small Wave sea).
Please note: Wave sea refers to the overall wave height, not the breaking waves on the beach.
For your safety, we require all participants to know how to swim. We do not rent equipment to non-swimmers.
